The book was okay. As the stars of my review suggest.

The entire time I was reading it I was having nostalgia for The Giver. The whole premise of Matched is essentially like a female version of The Giver. I have no idea what to say about this book. The main character was boring. The guy was meh. There's no emotional connections between me and the characters. I just rea it to finish the plot. And the plot was very disappointing.

Therefore, I don't even want bother with the other two books of the series. I just don't care about the characters to continue reading further.
