A very well written novel. The plot was interesting and since the book was a fairly fast read, I didn't really wanna put it down. If I had my way, I would have finished it all in one sitting. Haha.
I like the main character. Her sense of honor and attachment to family was very close to how Chinese culture works, so it's nice that it was captured well in the novel.

There was a few issues with the novel that didn't really bother me, but I wish could have been done better. Either than that, it was a fairly good read. Also, it's great that it's a standalone novel. <3 There's not enough of that around.
